Fiber reinforced composite overlays have a tremendous potential for the repair and rehabilitation of our civil infrastructure. With support from the National Science Foundation, the South Carolina Research Institute and local Industry, researchers at the University of South Carolina are developing a fracture mechanics-based test methodology to assess the long-term durability of the bond between fiber reinforced composite overlays and concrete.
