Machine Shop
Located at 300 Sumter Street, this facility supports the design and fabrication needs for the College of Engineering. It features a full machine shop, including CNC capabilities, welding/sheet metal, woodworking and a student work area.
Students taking
EMCH 427 and
428 are required to use this facility as part of their senior design lab. Projects may include Formula SAE, Solar Car, Solar Boat, and Mini Baja competition vehicles. It is truly one of the best kept secrets on the campus.
