Apogee Program Admission

 

Note:  The APOGEE option is available only to those who physically reside in the USA.

APPLYING FOR ADMISSION

APOGEE students will follow the same procedures as the on-campus graduate applicants. Access the on-line application from the Graduate School Web site. Complete and submit the application online. The application deadlines are listed for each term on the Web site. Please indicate "APOGEE" on the application where it asks where you will attend classes. APOGEE students do not have to submit proof of immunization. Detailed admission requirements can be found here.

ADVISEMENT REGISTRATION

The Department of Mechanical Engineering requires students be advised by a faculty member before they are allowed to register for classes. You will be assigned an advisor by the department. Students may specify a particular faculty member if they choose to do so. View the list of our faculty and their areas of interest here. Next, you will need to fill out an APOGEE Registration Form. After you have completed the registration form, you should submit it for approval by faxing it to: 803-777-0106 or mailing it to:

Please allow several days for this to be completed and you will be eligible to register online. If you wish to have the course tapes delivered to you, please register under the course code in Section 003.  All other students will need to register under the course code in Section 002.  APOGEE fees will be included in the tuition bill that you receive from the Registrar.
