Prof. Guiren Wang received an NSF MRI grant. This project is entitled " MRI: Development of a multifunctional far-field nanoscopic measurement system for multidisciplinary research", NSF funding for this project is $ 599,268 for three years.

Fadi Azer recieved the award of the “First Place” in oral presentation for the first “Biomedical Engineering NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) program”.

Prof. Guiren Wang has been awarded  the NSF CAREER AWARD.  His career award entitled “ Studying Flow Velocity Field in Nanofluidics with a Far-Field Nanoscopic Velocimetry” is worth $ 400,000 for 5 years.

Prof.  Guiren Wang received USC’s prestigious Promising Investigator Research Award (PIRA) of $ 20,000.

Dr. Guiren Wang was awarded North American Mixing Forum (NAMF) Startup Grant In Mixing NAMF is affiliated with the American Institute of Chemical Engineers. The grant supports biennially only one tenure-track faculty member at a Ph.D. granting institution in the entire North America. The grant is for a total of $60,000 for two years. This was announced at the Annual AIChE Meeting in Nashville, TN.
